12.30.15 – USAC: Direct Inward Dialing and Caller ID are No Longer Eligible Services in the HCF Program
Effective immediately, the Healthcare Connect Fund (HCF) Program will no longer provide funding for Direct Inward Dialing (DID) and Caller ID (CID) charges for individual health care providers (HCPs). Read more here.

The FCC’s Wireline Competition Bureau (Bureau) has released Version 2.1 of the Alternative Connect America Cost Model (A-CAM v2.1), which contains study area-specific plant mix values, an updated methodology for determining the presence of unsubsidized competitors, and a number of other minor updates. In July 2015, the FCC’s Wireline Competition Bureau (Bureau) released a preliminary list of 15 rate-of-return incumbent local exchange carrier (ILEC) study areas subject to a 100 percent overlap by an unsubsidized competitor or combination of unsubsidized competitors. Read more here.
