Over 40 years ago, Monte R. Lee set out to provide consulting and engineering services to rural telephone companies and cooperatives. Many of these companies had limited resources and large territories.

Today, in the ever-changing telecommunications industry, Monte R. Lee & Company (MRL) continues to serve our clients by offering a host of services that keep pace with shifting demographics, new and emerging technologies and the latest regulatory policies. As the internet and reliance on data has become the backbone of all network infrastructures, we also provide these same services to other industries and organizations, including electric cooperatives, energy companies, cable MSOs, municipalities and Native American governments.

In addition to licensed professional engineering services, such as broadband network designs (Fiber-to- the-Home (FTTH), Wireless, VoIP, soft switching, etc.), our services range from financial analysis and acquisitions assistance (low interest USDA RUS loans and grants) to regulatory consulting (FCC licensing, CLEC, ROW permitting, environmental clearances, etc.) to outside plant construction planning, inspection and testing and AutoCAD/Esri GIS mapping of network infrastructure (National Broadband Map).

MRL includes five active professional engineers, as well as a talented group of individuals with considerable professional experience in the communications industry, including jobsite inspectors, finance specialists and project coordinators. Our work includes a diverse and growing client base throughout the United States.
