This Rural Development investment will be used to deploy a fiber-to-the-premises network to provide high-speed internet. This network will benefit 1,284 people, 36 businesses, 696 farms and three educational facilities in Beaver and Cimarron counties in Oklahoma and Union County in New Mexico. Panhandle Telephone Cooperative, Inc. will make high-speed internet affordable by participating in the Federal Communications Commission’s (FCC) Lifeline and Affordable Connectivity Programs.
