Tatum Telephone Company (Tatum) is a certificated local exchange carrier providing slow speed broadband service within its exchange and surrounding areas in northeastern Texas.  The ReConnect loan will provide Tatum the opportunity to provide broadband service to 728 customers in the community and surrounding rural areas inside the exchange of Tatum under one PFSA.  The ReConnect application includes 70 miles of buried fiber with GPON FTTH electronics.  Receiving loan funding will allow Tatum to service a part of Rusk and Panola counties with much needed high speed broadband service.
