This Rural Development investment will be used to deploy a fiber-to-the-premises network to connect 3,975 people, 981 farms, 216 businesses and 11 public schools to high-speed internet in Alfalfa, Harper, Major, Woods, and Woodward counties in Oklahoma. Pioneer Telephone Cooperative Inc. will make high-speed internet affordable by participating in the FCC’s Lifeline Program.
