Oklahoma Western Telephone Company (OWTC) is a certified local exchange carrier providing broadband service to its nine exchanges in southeastern Oklahoma. The ReConnect grant will provide OWTC the opportunity to provide broadband service to 953 customers in rural areas insided portions of four exchanges under one PFSA. The application includes 296 miles of aerial and buried fiber with GPON FTTH electronics. Receiving funding will allow OWTC to service a part of the state with much needed high-speed broadband service.
