Milestone Marks MRL’s Fifth Active P.E. Focused on Rural Networks
Monte R. Lee & Company (MRL), a leading broadband network engineering company based out of Oklahoma City, is proud to announce that Madison Cappabianco has received her professional engineer (P.E.) license. This milestone makes Madison the first female professional engineer on the MRL team.
“We congratulate Madison on her achievement” said MRL’s President and CEO, Lynn Merrill, P.E. “Since she joined the MRL team in 2018, Madison has provided incredible support and impressive consulting services to our communications clients throughout the country. Our team of professional engineers, engineer interns, jobsite inspectors, finance specialists and project coordinators allow us to serve a diverse client-base ranging from rural providers to energy companies and municipalities to Native American governments.”
Since joining MRL, Madison has assisted clients and their engineering staff or team by providing best practices guidance along with helping companies with successful applications for funding or submitting regulatory filings.
“Whether we’re working on fiber-to-the-home or wireless backhaul we all understand that we are only as strong as our weakest link” said Madison. “As a consulting engineer, I enjoy working with clients to ensure best practices and to provide our expert outside perspective on projects that are crucial to rural economic development.”
Madison received her engineering degree from the University of Oklahoma after studying abroad in France. She serves on NTCA – The Rural Broadband Association’s Tribal Affairs Committee and Women in Telecom group along with actively participating with WTA – Advocates for Rural Broadband and the Association of Communications Engineers (ACE).
Be sure to catch up with Madison at NTCA’s Fall Conference in San Francisco and WTA’s Fall Educational Forum in Anchorage this September.
