Midvale Telephone Company (MTC) is a certificated local exchange carrier providing slow speed broadband service within its exchange and surrounding areas in central Idaho. The ReConnect Loan/Grant will provide MTC the opportunity to provide broadband service to 166 customers in the communities and surrounding rural areas inside the exchanges of MTC under 10 PFSAs. The ReConnect application includes 78 miles of buried fiber with GPON FTTH electronics. Receiving Loan/Grant funding will allow MTC to service a part of five counties with much needed high speed broadband service.
